Online JoomLMS help introduction

Welcome to JoomLMS - a high-end eLearning software. JoomLMS is used to manage online learning content and administer distance learning processes. JoomLMS allows you to create and support an unlimited number of online learning courses that can be accessed by students from all over the world.

For eLearning facilitation, a number of effective features and tools are used in this learning content management system:

JoomLMS user roles

The system provides 4 main default user roles:

  • Teacher: a person responsible for creating and administering courses, managing the whole learning process.
  • Student: a learner enrolled into one or several courses.
  • Parent/CEO: a supervisor responsible for administering Students and tracking Students' results.
  • LMS Administrator: a person responsible for general system and course settings.

Accordingly we can distinguish between 4 various user interfaces - each for a different user role. Every interface includes a list of inherent tasks and available sections. This User Guide describes how to work with the system if you have the Teacher/LMS Administrator user role in the learning process. If you purchase the Professional edition of JoomLMS, you can also create custom user roles and define their permissions yourself. Requirements

JoomLMS is a web-based application, therefore to work with the system you will only need an Internet connection and a browser. Currently the system supports all the main popular browsers, including:

  • Google Chrome
  • Firefox
  • Safari
  • Edge

How to use online JoomLMS help

The help is presented in a list of articles that can be sorted by category and subcategory. Via clicking on any menu item in the LMS help menu module you'll be automatically redirected to the corresponding article.

The online JoomLMS user manual contains embedded images that provide examples of how to manage various course items, users etc. To make your work even easier, we've placed a search box on our help site. Just type in some keywords and the system will find the information for you.
